The company has invested their time and resources to build a top quality electronic marker at an entry-level price. The Dangerous Power G5 isn’t just a slight modification of the G4. The company addressed all the issues with previous models of this series and the result is like an all-new paintball marker with better options and features.

Let’s look at some upgraded features of the Dangerous Power G5 and how the company has improved the design and overall performance of this paintball marker. Originally, the company was creating good paintball markers that had a following but their designs were flawed and difficult to use. With the G5, that is a departure from the old design features, and it really is like a new series of paintball marker in itself.

LOW-PRESSURE STINGER FRAME

The Danger Power G5 has a unibody frame made from high-grade aluminum making it light yet still very durable. This frame contains an inline reinforced Low-Pressure Stinger frame system including a heavy duty design. The frame is slightly smaller than an average size marker, but it doesn’t feel too small because the foregrip and handle grip are not connected, making enough space for you to move your hands without being confined within the trigger frame.

Macroless Hose Design

The Danger Power G5, which is a notable departure from the G4 design, has a macroless hose design, meaning all hoses are internally machined. The gas from the compressed air tank goes through a hose in the grip instead of a hose on the outside of the paintball marker. This change has streamlined the design and prevents an external hose from catching on something or getting in the way while you are in the middle of the game. Because the hose is in the handle grip and not outside the paintball gun, the handle grip is thicker than in previous models.

Riptide Regulator

The Riptide Regulator is a high-pressure regulator that directs the flow of pressure from the Stinger Frame’s low-pressure system airlines and sends it smoothly and consistently in a fluid path to cycle the Dangerous Power G5 Paintball Marker. Because of the standard E-trigger on the Proto Rail, accuracy is improved because of the lack of recoil and the ability to rapidly and constantly shoot ammo at a higher rate. This was a game changer for player performance. The range of the Proto Rail is a standard 150 feet out of the box without modification. If adding a longer barrel or other modifications to this paintball marker gun, the quality of range could go up to 200 feet easily. The Proto Rail Maxxed with an E-trigger standard right out of the box where other models you have to upgrade. This means that you can save a lot of compressed air during play time by using an electronic circuit to power the auto-cocker firing mechanism. Conclusion

While all four paintball marker guns reviewed were excellent and had many options and features that we felt were amazing, the Dangerous Power G5 had such improvement for the price that it was hard to ignore. The air hose hiding in the handle was a big improvement as well as the Subsonic Bold Design. The upgrades were a real plus, and the overall slim design and ease of use right out of the box give us an overall five-star impression of the G5.
